Battery Safety Standards & Care Guide
Learn how our smart BMS protection works and how to maximize your battery’s lifespan.
Integrated BMS Safety Features
At PERSISTINVISITING, safety is our highest priority. Every replacement battery pack is equipped with an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) that continuously monitors cell status during charge and discharge cycles:
Overcharge & Over-discharge Protection
Prevents cell damage caused by overcharging or draining the battery below safe levels.
Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Safeguards
Automatically cuts off circuit connection if an abnormal current spike or short circuit occurs.
Thermal Protection
Built-in temperature sensors prevent overheating during heavy-duty tool or vacuum operations.
Cell Balancing Technology
Ensures uniform charging across all internal cells to extend total battery cycle life.
Best Practices for Battery Care
Follow these simple maintenance tips to ensure maximum performance and longevity for your lithium-ion batteries:
Initial Charge
Charge your new battery fully before using it for the first time.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Never leave batteries in direct sunlight, hot cars, or below-freezing environments. Optimal operating temperature is 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F).
Cool Down Before Recharging
Allow the battery to cool down for 15–30 minutes after heavy use before snapping it onto the charger.
Long-Term Storage
If storing the battery for extended periods, keep it charged at around 50–70% capacity in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing completely depleted batteries.
